SanDisk Corp. fell 2%. The move came as AI hardware stocks broadly pulled back and memory names led declines ahead of NVIDIA’s results, amid remarks that the industry overestimated near-term AI growth and reports of U.S. pressure on South Korea to expand stateside memory production.

Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares (SOXL) fell 2.13%. The leveraged fund tracked weakness across chipmakers after a tech-led selloff weighed on the Nasdaq in the prior session and as memory shares continued to retreat.

Micron Technology (MU) fell 1.4%. Options flows pointed to cautious positioning, with notable put activity and call selling and implied volatility near the lower end of its historical range, while the company opened a 60,000-square-foot training center in Boise to bolster its U.S. workforce.

Memory chip stocks fell, with Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) falling 1.69%.
