On November 5, value investor Duan Yongping said in a social media post that Apple is “a good company that is not cheap.” He recalled buying Apple when, in his words, it “seemed to be a little over 10x P/E,” and described the company at that time as “a very cheap good company.”

Duan also wrote: “I miss the days of lying on Apple; now I need to spend more time on investing.”

The post was a reply to a column by user Yue Yunxuan titled “Apple FY2026 Financial Report Analysis (PPT) - 20261105.” That column referenced Apple, Alphabet (Class C), and Microsoft, and his message addressed Yue Yunxuan by handle. The column’s title and tags were cited in Duan’s post.
