Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited disclosed on 5 October 2026 that it repurchased 300,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on the same day at a unit price of HKD 1.52, for a total consideration of HKD 0.46 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count fell from 10.05 billion to 10.05 billion, a marginal decrease of 0.00299%. Treasury stock doubled to 0.60 million shares.
The latest repurchase forms part of a mandate approved by shareholders on 27 May 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 1.00 billion shares. To date, Beijing Enterprises Water has repurchased 0.60 million shares under this mandate, equivalent to 0.00597% of the issued share capital at the time the authority was granted.
A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales is in effect until 4 November 2026, in line with Hong Kong Listing Rules.
