CA Cultural Technology Group Limited (CA Cultural Technology) notified shareholders that it is negotiating with multiple data-centre operators in Japan to lease “Reserved Capacity,” a bundle of high-performance infrastructure and edge-computing resources.
The prospective arrangement is designed to underpin the group’s expanding product ecosystem, which includes AI-driven toys, interactive character IPs, and real-time AR/VR multimedia services. According to the board, commercial deployment of conversational AI models and high-fidelity AR/VR streaming requires high-density compute power, low-latency network routes, and stringent data security—capabilities the targeted facilities are expected to provide.
By outsourcing infrastructure rather than purchasing hardware outright, CA Cultural Technology anticipates:
• Faster commercialisation of AI toys and AR/VR offerings, • Scalable capacity to handle peak traffic, and • Enterprise-grade physical security, isolated edge processing, and audit compliance that mitigate regulatory and operational risks.
The board states that securing the Reserved Capacity aligns with the group’s long-term AI strategy disclosed on 24 September 2026 and serves the interests of shareholders. No binding agreement has yet been announced.
