SBI Holdings (TYO:8473) subsidiary SBI Ventures Two plans to acquire additional shares in Berlin-based Solaris SE, making it a consolidated subsidiary, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The acquisition, valued at 70 million euros, will raise SBI's stake to 86.7%.
SBI has invested in Solaris since 2017. Solaris provides embedded finance services with a European banking license and partnerships with organizations like ADAC and Boerse Stuttgart Group.
Share transfers are set to begin in February.
