Jupiter Energy (ASX:JPR) abandoned its plan to raise funds via a placement offer after failing to secure the minimum subscription amount of AU$3 million by the due date, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
All funds received under the offer will be returned to applicants.
The oil explorer and producer said it will continue to explore its capital raising options in Australia.
Further, the company said it plans to undertake a dual listing on Kazakhstan's Astana International Exchange. If this pushes through, Jupiter Energy plans to raise capital through Kazakh investors, per the filing.
