CRRC (HKG:1766, SHA:601766) reported net profit attributable to shareholders of 2.72 billion yuan for the third quarter, down 11% from a year earlier, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Hong Kong-listed shares of the firm were down 9% in Friday's afternoon trade.
Earnings per share came in at 0.09 yuan, compared with 0.11 yuan a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter rose 2.5% to 64.1 billion yuan.
For the first nine months, net profit attributable to shareholders increased 37% to 9.96 billion yuan, while revenue grew over 20% to 183.9 billion yuan, the filing showed.
