FAR Agrees to Settle $6 Million Claim From Woodside

FAR (ASX:FAR) agreed with Woodside Energy Group (ASX:WDS) to settle a $6 million claim, relating to the company's sale of its interest in the Senegal-based Rufisque, Sangomar, and Sangomar Deep project in 2011, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Under the deal, the company will pay the entire amount to Woodside, the filing said.

Woodside will refund the company the petroleum expenditure, subject to the claim it can recover it before Dec. 31, 2030, the filing added.

Shares of Woodside rose 1% in recent Monday trade.
