South Manganese Investment Returns to Profit Despite 52% Revenue Drop in 2025; Shares Slide 5%

South Manganese Investment (HKG:1091) logged a profit attributable to owners of HK$167.1 million for 2025, compared with a loss of HK$725.1 million a year earlier, according to a March 13 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the manganese company were down more than 5% before midday Monday.
Earnings per share came in at HK$0.0394, compared with a loss per share of HK$0.2115 in the previous year.
Revenue fell 52% to HK$6.37 billion from HK$13.2 billion a year earlier, figures showed.
