ChainCatcher 消息，Galaxy Digital 研究主管 Alex Thorn 在 X 平台发文称，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）已提议废除 Reg NMS 的第 611 条规则（订单保护规则）和第 610 条（e）规则（锁定/交叉市场限制）。第 611 条要求每个交易中心防止以劣于其他交易所显示的保护报价的价格执行交易，是美国股票市场结构自 2005 年以来的核心规则。Alex Thorn 表示，第 611 条是代币化股票在 DeFi 中交易的最大障碍之一。自动做市商无法遵守该规则，任何代币化股票的流动性池都会持续违反规定，本质上构成非法交易中心。
废除第 611 条后，取而代之的是“最佳执行”原则，该原则适用于经纪商层面，是基于规则的框架，而非逐笔交易审查，因此可以兼容自动做市商。Alex Thorn 称这是 SEC 执行“加密项目”计划的一部分，先废除最难的市场结构障碍，再通过“创新豁免”处理场所注册问题。
