Alpha HPA (ASX:A4N) said it has received four new letters of intent covering two further commitments for high purity alumina (HPA) for thermal fillers in semiconductor encapsulation, high purity alumina hydrates for specialty catalysts, and high purity aluminum products for the lithium-ion battery sector, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company said commercial supply terms have been accepted for aluminum nitrate use in the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) sector, with building demand and first commercial orders received for HPA nano slurry.

Alpha HPA said its updated internal market demand model, based on refreshed end-user engagement and industry interviews, forecasts demand for its HPA and high-purity aluminum trihydrate products to exceed 50,000 tonnes per year by 2030.
