Chu Kong Shipping Sees Profit Rising Up to 45% in H1

Chu Kong Shipping Enterprises (HKG:0560) expects attributable profit of about HK$34.6 million to HK$38.6 million for the first half of 2026, up 30% to 45% from HK$26.6 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The company attributed the expected increase in attributable profit to a rise in Hong Kong's cross-border passenger traffic, which boosted the share of profits from its joint ventures and associates.
Chu Kong Shipping shares gained nearly 2% in recent trade.
