路透9月7日 - 总部位于佛罗里达州的EverBank Financial已同意通过一笔39亿美元的反向并购交易，收购太平洋西北地区的一家小型银行WaFd（WAFD.O），两家公司周一表示。
《华尔街日报》 周一早些时候援引两家公司声明报导称，此项交易将缔造一家资产规模约750亿美元的区域性银行。
根据协议，EverBank将并入WaFd，后者更名为EverBank Financial Corp后仍将保持上市公司地位，并在纳斯达克交易所使用新股票代码EVBK进行交易。
交易完成后，EverBank投资者 将合计持有合并后公司约59.2%的股份，WaFd股东则持有剩余的40.8%。
两家公司表示，此次合并预计将于2027年初完成，预计将使WaFd的2027年每股收益增加约29%，并在不到两年的时间内弥补有形账面价值的稀释。
