China Water Affairs Group (HKG:0855) and Kangda International Environmental (HKG:6136) proposed raising the annual caps for construction services transactions between their subsidiaries to 70 million yuan from 45 million yuan for each of 2026, 2027 and 2028.
The revision reflects an accelerated wastewater treatment project in Qitaihe, Heilongjiang, worth about 25 million yuan, and two potential upgrading projects in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, and Feicheng, Shandong, each estimated at 35 million yuan, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The Qitaihe project is now scheduled for substantial completion by the end of 2026, a year earlier than planned, while the two additional projects are expected to start around 2027 and 2028.
Shares of China Water Affairs rose nearly 1% while shares of Kangda International rose some 2% in recent trade.
