ChainCatcher 消息，Coinbase 首席安全官 Jeff Lunglhofer 在 X 发文称，Coinbase 是安全的。他表示，平台正在阻止向被入侵的币安钱包发送资产，并仅出于谨慎对冷存储系统做了调整。
Lunglhofer 在稍早帖文中称，团队已知悉并密切关注币安方面的情况，且已向对方提供支持。他表示，刚与托管团队结束通话，未发现 Coinbase 存在任何可疑活动迹象。Coinbase 官方账号随后发文称，平台安全，正在监测币安相关情况，并已联系其团队提供支持。
当日链上监测显示，被标记为币安热钱包的地址出现大额转出。Unchained 统计称，仅以太坊上约有 35 亿美元从相关钱包流出；The Block 援引链上数据称，可疑流出规模最高约达 58 亿美元。币安表示正在调查潜在安全问题，并将通过官方渠道更新。Tether 首席执行官 Paolo Ardoino 表示，Tether 已冻结超过 15.67 亿枚 USDT。
