Mapletree Investments, a Singapore real estate group owned by state investment firm Temasek, is exploring a potential domestic listing in 2027, The Business Times reported, citing sources.
The company has hired banks and advisers to prepare for the proposed IPO. Mapletree sponsors three listed REITs: Mapletree Logistics Trust (SGX:M44U), Mapletree Industrial Trust (SGX:ME8U) and Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust (SGX:N2IU), the report said.
The development comes after merger discussions between Mapletree and CapitaLand Investment (SGX:9CI) failed to result in a deal, according to the report.
Mapletree Investments did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
