Nvidia (NVDA) is requiring cloud providers in Southeast Asia seeking its Nvidia Cloud Partner designation to enroll in the company's fleet intelligence system, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The fleet intelligence platform allows Nvidia to monitor artificial intelligence accelerator location and deployments by participating companies, the report said.
The initiative could give Nvidia greater insight into how its chips move through the region as Washington and the chipmaker spar over efforts to prevent advanced AI processors from reaching China, Bloomberg reported.
Nvidia did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
