Zhuhai Rundu Pharmaceutical Secures NMPA Marketing Approval for Vonoprazan Fumarate API

Zhuhai Rundu Pharmaceutical (SHE:002923) received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for the marketing application of domestically manufactured vonoprazan fumarate, an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Vonoprazan fumarate is used to treat reflux esophagitis and, with appropriate antibiotics, Helicobacter pylori eradication, it said.
Zhuhai Rundu Pharmaceutical submitted the application in May 2025, completed supplementary research requested in March 2026, and submitted the additional data in July 2026, the filing said.
Shares of Zhuhai Rundu Pharmaceutical fell nearly 2% at market close.
