P/F Bakkafrost, together with its subsidiaries, produces and sells salmon products under the Bakkafrost and Havsbrún brands in North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, and internationally. It operates through four segments: Farming FO; Farming SCT; Value Added Products; and Fishmeal, Oil and Fish Feed. The company is involved in the breeding and on-growing of salmon; harvesting, sale, and distribution of salmon; salmon farming, harvest, filleting, sales, and administration; and production of skinless and boneless portions of salmon. It also produces and sells fishmeal, fish oil, and fish feed. In addition, it engages in production of styrofoam boxes, and biogas and fertilizer; and operates trading of fishes, lumpfish farming business, and freight transportation of goods, as well as produce and sell canned fish products.
