The US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) announced it is experiencing "technical difficulties" ahead of the scheduled release of the August non-farm employment report.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics issued a statement on its website Friday stating: "We apologize, we are experiencing technical difficulties. All BLS data retrieval tools will be available after the issue is resolved."
The Bureau of Labor Statistics did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The August non-farm employment report is scheduled for release at 8:30 AM Eastern Time. It remains unclear whether the technical difficulties will impact the timely release of the report.
