Stock Track
May 13

Wix.com's stock experienced a significant 24-hour plunge of 5.11% during pre-market trading on Wednesday. The sharp decline followed the release of the company's first-quarter financial results.

The drop was primarily driven by Wix.com reporting quarterly earnings that fell short of analyst expectations. The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.68, which missed the consensus estimate of $1.25 by 45.6%. Quarterly sales of $541.171 million also slightly missed estimates of $544.158 million. Additionally, investment bank JP Morgan cut its price target on Wix.com shares to $86 from $91, contributing to negative sentiment.

While the company reported year-over-year growth in bookings (15%) and revenue (14%), the results were overshadowed by the earnings miss. Wix.com maintained its full-year 2026 outlook, but investors reacted negatively to the quarterly performance shortfall against expectations.
