知情人士透露，蚂蚁集团旗下国际业务部门正计划在新加坡和中国香港申请稳定币牌照。
知情人士还透露，蚂蚁国际还计划在卢森堡寻求许可。此举旨在加强该金融科技公司的区块链业务，为其跨境支付和资金管理服务提供支持。
知情人士称，蚂蚁集团去年处理的全球交易额超过1万亿美元，其中三分之一由其基于区块链的Whale平台处理。
对此，蚂蚁国际表示：蚂蚁国际正在全球财资管理方面加速投资、拓展合作，将我们的AI、区块链和稳定币创新投入真实可靠的大规模应用。我们欢迎香港立法会通过《稳定币条例草案》，将于法案8月1日生效、相关通道开启后尽快提交申请，希望为香港建设未来国际金融中心贡献更多力量。
