Sina Tech News, September 30 evening — Wo'an Robotics' AI tennis robot Acemate has officially made its debut at the 2026 China Open.
As the sole designated tennis training robot supplier for this year's China Open, Acemate has become the first sports robot to enter the tournament.
According to the company, Acemate does not require any external motion capture system to be deployed around the court. Relying solely on the pure binocular vision mounted on the robot itself, it can perceive information about the court, the players, and the incoming ball, and further complete trajectory prediction of the incoming ball, autonomous movement, and hitting execution.
On the commercialization front, before appearing at this year's China Open, Acemate had already entered the daily training scenarios of ordinary users worldwide and gradually built a large-scale market foundation. Currently, Acemate has entered more than 60 countries and regions globally, with over 20,000 users worldwide, and overseas market sales accounting for more than 70% of the total. In China, leveraging Acemate, Wo'an has built the world's first robotic tennis training court. At present, Acemate has been deployed in multiple cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, covering more than 1,100 tennis courts.
As a representative product of Wo'an Robotics in the sports and health sector, Acemate is an important achievement in its effort to drive embodied intelligence into real-world application scenarios. Centered on its self-developed general-purpose intelligent brain OneModel and its "one brain, multiple forms" technology system, Wo'an Robotics has established a multi-form robot layout spanning home services, sports and health, and intelligent companionship.
