According to Xinjiang Gas Group Co., Ltd., the service interruption is necessary to facilitate valve replacement work at the valve well on the west side of Heping Canal on Nanchang Road, Shayibake District. The operation requires a gas connection procedure, leading to a temporary halt in supply.

When will the gas be off?

The gas supply will be suspended from 10:00 PM on September 22nd to 8:00 AM on September 23rd. During this window, the following areas will be affected: units and users along Nanchang Road (from Altai Road to Nanchang South Road), Nanchang South Road (from Nanchang Road to the Military Hospital), Hami Road (from Nanchang South Road to Heping Canal), and Taoyuan Road.

Which specific locations are included?

The outage will impact a wide range of facilities, including the coal-to-gas boiler room at Zhongtong Bus Factory, the staff canteen of Xinjiang Yinhua Zhixing Hotel Management Co., Ltd., Xilaishun Hotel, the staff canteen of Xinjiang Petroleum Institute, the community health service station at the Petroleum Institute, Urumqi No. 16 Primary School, the Nursing School of Xinjiang Medical University (Epidemic Prevention Station), Hanting Hotel, Zhaoshi Catering, Mingyouli Restaurant, Niushi Beef Noodles, Yihaoyuan Roasted Whole Lamb, the residential quarters of Xilaishun Hotel, the Petroleum Institute family quarters, the Coal Mine Hospital family quarters, the Mining Bureau family quarters, the Bus Factory family quarters, Jinse Huayuan Residential Community, Ruichang Mansion High-Rise, Zhongfuyuan Community, and Ruian Residential Community.

Xinjiang Gas Group urges all users to ensure all indoor gas valves are closed during the outage period to prevent any leakage when the supply is restored. Only open the inlet valve after the gas supply has been fully resumed. If a gas leak is detected, immediately close the gas valve, open windows and doors for ventilation, and promptly move to a safe outdoor area before calling the Xinjiang Gas Group 24-hour customer service hotline at 96517 for reporting. It is strictly prohibited to use any open flames, make or answer phone calls, or operate electrical switches while a leak is suspected.
