CMA LOGISTICS (01292) has issued a profit warning, expecting a significant drop in net profit attributable to equity holders for the six months ending June 30, 2026.
The company anticipates revenue for the period to be approximately RMB 4.45 billion to RMB 4.6 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of about 6.89% to 10.50% compared to the same period in 2025. However, net profit attributable to equity holders is projected to be around RMB 20 million to RMB 25 million, a decrease of approximately 39.73% to 51.78% from the previous year.
Key reasons for the decline
The board attributes the sharp drop in net profit mainly to a shift in the business structure of major clients. As these clients have increased their export business while reducing domestic market volume, CMA LOGISTICS has experienced a decline in its higher-margin domestic vehicle transportation and parts warehousing and logistics distribution services. This change has led to a decrease in the group's overall gross profit margin.
