China Merchants Bank Reports 2025 Financial Results with Net Profit Attributable to Shareholders Reaching CNY 150.181 Billion

China Merchants Bank (03968) has announced its financial results for the year 2025. The bank reported net operating revenue of CNY 3,372.73 billion, representing a slight increase of 0.05% compared to the previous year. Net interest income amounted to CNY 2,155.93 billion, up by 2.04% year-on-year, while non-interest net income was CNY 1,216.80 billion, a decrease of 3.31%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the bank reached CNY 150.181 billion, reflecting a growth of 1.21% over the prior year. Basic earnings per share stood at CNY 5.70. As of the end of the reporting period, the group's total assets were CNY 13,070.523 billion, an increase of 7.56% from the end of the previous year. Total loans and advances amounted to CNY 7,258.058 billion, up by 5.37%. Total liabilities reached CNY 11,789.624 billion, growing by 7.98%, and total customer deposits were CNY 9,836.130 billion, an increase of 8.13%. The balance of non-performing loans was CNY 68.206 billion, rising by CNY 2.596 billion from the end of the previous year. The non-performing loan ratio was 0.94%, down by 0.01 percentage points. The provision coverage ratio stood at 391.79%, decreasing by 20.19 percentage points, while the loan provision ratio was 3.68%, down by 0.24 percentage points.
