According to disclosures from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Goldman Sachs (GS.US) filed its second quarter holdings report (13F) as of June 30, 2025. Statistics show that Goldman Sachs' total portfolio value in the second quarter reached $740 billion, compared to $620 billion in the previous quarter, representing an increase of approximately 7.32%. In the second quarter portfolio, Goldman Sachs added 591 new individual stocks, increased holdings in 2,542 stocks, and cleared positions in 568 stocks. The top ten holdings accounted for 21.01% of the total portfolio value.

Among the top five heavy-weight holdings, NVIDIA (NVDA.US) ranked first with approximately 160 million shares held, representing a market value of about $25.283 billion and accounting for 3.43% of the investment portfolio, with holdings increasing by 15.41% compared to the previous quarter. Microsoft (MSFT.US) ranked second with approximately 46.7172 million shares held, representing a market value of about $23.238 billion and accounting for 3.16% of the investment portfolio, with holdings increasing by 3.40% compared to the previous quarter. SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US) ranked third with approximately 36.838 million shares held, representing a market value of about $22.760 billion and accounting for 3.09% of the investment portfolio, with holdings increasing by 5.89% compared to the previous quarter. Apple (AAPL.US) ranked fourth with approximately 90.9221 million shares held, representing a market value of about $18.654 billion and accounting for 2.53% of the investment portfolio, with holdings increasing by 1.92% compared to the previous quarter. SPDR S&P 500 ETF Put Options (SPY.US.PUT) ranked fifth with 19.8982 million shares held, representing a market value of about $12.294 billion and accounting for 1.67% of the investment portfolio, with holdings decreasing by 15.98% compared to the previous quarter.

The top ten holdings also include Meta (META.US), Amazon (AMZN.US), Broadcom (AVGO.US), Tesla (TSLA.US), and Alphabet Class A (GOOGL.US), all of which saw increases in holdings compared to the previous quarter. Goldman Sachs also increased its holdings in Netflix (NFLX.US), Palantir (PLTR.US), Texas Instruments (TXN.US), and Alibaba (BABA.US) during the second quarter, while reducing positions in Walmart (WMT.US), Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US), Nike (NKE.US), and AppLovin (APP.US).

From the perspective of portfolio allocation changes, the top five buying targets were: NVIDIA, Tesla, Broadcom, Invesco QQQ Trust Call Options (QQQ.US.CALL), and NVIDIA Call Options (NVDA.US.CALL). The top five selling targets were: Invesco QQQ Trust Put Options (QQQ.US.PUT), SPDR S&P 500 ETF Put Options, AbbVie (ABBV.US), iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM.US), and iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF Put Options (TLT.US.PUT).
