The bank expects "Demon Slayer" to become the highest-grossing Japanese animated film in China, assuming a box office of RMB 1 billion. Citigroup estimates the profit contribution could range between RMB 108 million to RMB 200 million, compared to its adjusted 2025 net profit forecast of RMB 542 million for the company.
