JU TENG INTL (03336) announced that on January 14, 2026, the group discovered a post on a "dark web" page, which claimed that some of the group's laptop computers had been subjected to a cyber attack. This allegedly led to the availability for sale of information including the names of related customers, associated projects, contact details for related customers and suppliers, and related product information. Upon discovering the incident, the group immediately took action to ascertain the situation and the extent of the data security breach. The group has initiated a thorough investigation and will engage a cybersecurity consulting firm to assess, among other things, the extent of the unauthorized access and data leakage; the root cause of the incident; and to conduct a comprehensive review of the security of the group's systems and servers. As of the date of this announcement, the aforementioned investigation is still ongoing, and it has not yet been possible to determine the extent of the unauthorized access; whether any other group data or information has been leaked; or the extent and content of any such leakage. Upon completion of the investigation, the group will take appropriate further actions based on the findings. The announcement stated that the group will fully cooperate with the cybersecurity consultant in investigating the incident. The group will continue to strengthen its information system security measures and is committed to protecting its data security to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
