A medical emergency unfolded on a fishing vessel in the northern Yellow Sea on the afternoon of September 6th. A fisherman suddenly developed severe chest pain, creating an urgent situation that demanded immediate assistance.

Upon receiving the distress notification from the Shandong Maritime Search and Rescue Center, the Beihai Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport swiftly activated its emergency response protocol. The rescue helicopter, registered as "B72FZ", was immediately dispatched for the mission, with the crew completing all necessary pre-flight preparations by 13:59 and departing from Penglai Wolong Airport toward the incident location.

Throughout the flight, the operations control department continuously monitored and updated the evolving situation, simultaneously coordinating ground support upon arrival and arranging for an ambulance to be ready for swift patient transfer. The helicopter reached the designated airspace above the target waters at 15:19.

With the captain skillfully maintaining a stable hover, the winch operator and rescue swimmer worked in close coordination to safely hoist both an accompanying crew member and the ill fisherman aboard using rescue slings and immersion suits.
