Singapore's Retail Sales Rise 2.7% in December 2025

Singapore's total retail sales increased 2.7% year on year in December 2025, according to data released by the Department of Statistics Singapore on Thursday.
Excluding motor vehicles, retail sales were up 1.7% on year during the month.
On a seasonally adjusted month on month basis, retail sales fell 5.4% during the month, the data showed. Excluding motor vehicles, seasonally adjusted retail sales declined 6.7%.
Estimated total retail sales came in at SG$4.8 billion in December 2025, with online sales making up 14.8% of it, the data showed. Excluding motor vehicles, total retail sales were SG$4.1 billion.
