Yancheng Port Reports 70.6% Narrower Interim Loss on 24.3% Revenue Growth

Yancheng Port International Co., Limited expects to slash its interim net loss to approximately HK$7.90 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, down 70.6% from HK$26.90 million a year earlier. Revenue is projected to rise 24.3% year on year to about HK$639.50 million, compared with HK$514.70 million in the prior-year period.

Management attributes the smaller loss to three factors: 1. Higher trading-business volumes accompanied by an improved profit margin; 2. Steady cost control alongside increased income from the petrochemical products storage segment; and 3. A disposal gain arising from the sale of a subsidiary during the reporting period.

The figures are based on unaudited management accounts and may differ from the final results, which are scheduled for release in August 2026. The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
