Datang International (Stock Code: 00991) Reports 2.02% Year-on-Year Growth in On-Grid Power Generation for First Three Quarters of 2025

Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. (the “Company,” Stock Code: 00991) recorded a total on-grid power generation of approximately 206.241 billion kWh as of 30 September 2025, reflecting a 2.02% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Notable contributors to this growth were wind power and photovoltaic power, which saw year-on-year increases of about 28.94% and 36.76% respectively, supported by higher national electricity consumption and expanding new energy capacity. Hydropower generation also rose by 6.47% versus the prior year.

Meanwhile, coal-fired and gas-fired power generation experienced year-on-year decreases of around 1.21% and 5.87% respectively. The average on-grid tariff stood at RMB430.19 per MWh (tax inclusive), marking a 4.32% decline compared to the previous year. Market-based transaction volume reached approximately 178.595 billion kWh, representing about 86.60% of the Company’s total on-grid power generation in the first three quarters.

As of 30 September 2025, the Company’s total installed capacity was 82,702.516 MW, comprising coal-fired, gas-fired, hydropower, wind power, and photovoltaic power. During the third quarter, newly added capacity totaled 1,812.839 MW, which included capacity expansions in coal-fired, gas-fired, wind, and photovoltaic power projects.
