Mega Genomics Limited reported to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it repurchased 109,800 ordinary shares on-market on 18 September 2026 at prices ranging between HKD 6.75 and HKD 7.02, for a total consideration of HKD 0.77 million. The volume-weighted average purchase price was approximately HKD 7.00 per share.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.05 % to 222.89 million shares, down from 222.99 million. Treasury shares increased to about 1.41 million, while the total issued share count remained unchanged at 224.30 million.
Since receiving shareholder approval on 21 May 2026 to buy back up to 22.43 million shares, Mega Genomics has repurchased 1.41 million shares, equivalent to 0.63 % of the company’s share base at the time the mandate was granted. All repurchased shares are being held in treasury; none have yet been cancelled.
In line with Main Board Rule 10.06, the company faces a 30-day moratorium—running through 18 October 2026—on issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares following the latest buyback. The board confirmed that all repurchases were executed in compliance with Hong Kong listing regulations and the terms of the approved mandate.
