Xiaocaiyuan International Holding Ltd. (Xiaocaiyuan) disclosed on 27 May 2026 that it repurchased 1.07 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on the same day, according to its latest Next Day Disclosure Return.
The transaction, executed entirely on-market, was completed at prices ranging from HK$6.70 to HK$7.11 per share, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HK$6.94. The total consideration amounted to HK$7.44 million.
Following the buyback, Xiaocaiyuan’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.09% to 1.175 billion. Treasury shares held by the company increased to 1.31 million, while the total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.177 billion, as the repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled.
The repurchase formed part of the mandate approved by shareholders on 20 April 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 117.65 million shares. To date, Xiaocaiyuan has repurchased 1.31 million shares under this authority, representing 0.11% of the company’s issued share capital at the time the mandate was granted.
In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Xiaocaiyuan is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 26 June 2026.
