Youzan Technology (8083) Submits Application to Transfer Listing from GEM to Main Board

Bulletin Express
Oct 28

Youzan Technology Limited (8083) announced that it has submitted a formal application on 28 October 2025 for the proposed transfer of its listing from GEM to the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The company stated that this move will not involve any issue of new shares and remains subject to all relevant approvals, including the Stock Exchange’s permission to deal in the existing shares on the Main Board.

According to the announcement, the board believes that a Main Board listing will enhance the firm’s corporate profile, increase trading liquidity, and provide broader access to financing. The company’s largest shareholder, Mr. Zhu, held 1,803,771,804 shares (about 10.45% of issued share capital) as of 1 January 2022 and 6,177,890,609 shares (around 18.73% of the issued share capital including treasury shares) as of the date of the announcement. The company also indicated there has been no change in its principal business over the past three financial years, and there are no current plans to alter its core operations following the proposed listing transfer.

The timetable of the listing transfer has not been finalized. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to be aware that it remains conditional upon meeting all Main Board listing requirements and obtaining necessary regulatory consents. If approved, the transfer will provide Youzan Technology Limited with access to a broader investor base and potentially enhance overall market recognition.
