铝生产商 美国铝业公布的业绩有所改善，但未达到华尔街预期，股价在盘后交易中走低。
周四盘后，美国铝业公布第二季度经调整后每股收益为2.12美元，税息折旧及摊销前利润（Ebitda）为9.01亿美元，营收为40亿美元。
据FactSet数据，华尔街此前预期每股收益为2.55美元，Ebitda为9.43亿美元，营收为40亿美元。
一年前，美国铝业公布的每股收益为39美分，Ebitda为3.13亿美元，营收为30亿美元。当时基准铝价约为每吨2600美元，而目前接近每吨3200美元。
情况有所好转，但未达到华尔街的预期。
美国铝业股价在盘后交易中下跌2.3%，报45.78美元。该股周四已下跌3.6%，而标普500指数（SPX，跌0.51%）当日收跌0.5%。截至周四收盘，尽管铝价走高，美国铝业股价今年以来仍累计下跌约12%。
自该公司6月30日宣布以41亿美元现金加股票的方式收购South32（S32，跌0.49%）的铝土矿、氧化铝和铝资产以来，股价已累计下跌13%。这笔交易意味着资产负债表上将增加更多债务、股权被稀释，并带来资产整合的新风险——这些是该股遭遇负面反应的几个原因。
铝土矿本质上是一种矿石，经加工后可制成氧化铝，而氧化铝最终成为金属铝。
