美高梅盈利超预期并宣布20亿美元回购计划
高梅度假村国际公司周三公布的第一季度盈利超出华尔街预期，这得益于其在线体育博彩部门的强劲表现。该公司同时宣布了一项20亿美元的股票回购计划，推动其股价在盘后交易时段上涨3.34%。
本周早些时候，美高梅与英国博彩公司Entain合资成立的体育博彩平台BetMGM，以及同业公司凯撒娱乐均报告了在线博彩市场增长带来的盈利。
据伦敦证券交易所集团（LSEG）汇编的数据显示，美高梅度假村本季度经调整后的每股收益为69美分，大幅超越华尔街46美分的普遍预期。
LSEG数据显示，截至3月31日的第一季度，美高梅总收入同比下降2.4%至42.8亿美元，略低于分析师平均预估的43亿美元。这一业绩表现凸显了在线博彩业务与传统实体赌场业务此消彼长的发展态势。
