Xinhua Winshare Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 811) reported that the Board has proposed the appointment of Li Kun as an executive director of the company, subject to approval at an extraordinary general meeting. According to the announcement dated 10 February 2026, Li Kun was concurrently appointed by the Board to the position of general manager on the same day, following the resignation of Li Qiang.
Li Kun’s background includes serving as deputy secretary of the party committee and a director at Sichuan Xinhua Publishing and Distribution Group Co., Ltd., as well as deputy secretary of the party committee and general manager of Xinhua Winshare Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. Prior to joining, he held managerial and finance-related roles at Sichuan Daily Newspaper Group and its subsidiaries. Li Kun holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and has professional qualifications as an accountant and senior economist.
Upon approval, Li Kun will enter into a service contract for the executive director role, while remuneration as general manager will be determined under the company’s remuneration management system and disclosed in the annual report. The relevant appointment period will run until the completion of the re-election of the fifth session of the Board of the company.
An extraordinary general meeting will be held for shareholders to vote on Li Kun’s appointment as executive director. The company has indicated that additional details, including Li Kun’s biographical information, will be provided in a circular to be dispatched in due course.
