Zheneng Jinjiang Environment clinches three-year shareholder return accolade at The Edge Singapore awards

Nov, 07 2025 – Zheneng Jinjiang Environment Holding Company Limited (BWM) reported that it has received the “Highest Returns to Shareholders Over Three Years” award in the Utilities sector at The Edge Singapore Centurion Club Awards 2025. According to the organiser, the award is based on the compound annual growth rate of share price and dividends distributed over the past three years for Singapore-listed companies with a market capitalisation between $100 million and $999 million. Zheneng Jinjiang Environment highlighted that it raised its final dividend to 2.30 Singapore cents per ordinary share for FY2024, up from 1.30 Singapore cents in FY2023, representing a 76.9 % increase and a dividend-payout ratio of 29.0 %. The waste-to-energy operator said its business portfolio now comprises 27 operational WTE facilities, four kitchen-waste treatment plants and eight waste-resource recycling sites with a combined processing capacity of 44,605 tonnes per day. A further six projects are under construction and 16 are at the preparatory stage, which could lift total capacity to 58,205 tonnes per day upon completion. Executive Chairman Wei Dongliang stated that the group will continue expanding along the industrial chain, including steam supply and slag disposal, to support sustainable long-term shareholder value.
