On September 25, the launch ceremony of the 2025 National Cultural and Tourism Consumption Promotion Activities and the main event of National Day Consumption Month were held in Chengdu. As the financial cooperation institution for this event, Bank of China unveiled three core initiatives focusing on financial benefits for cultural tourism consumption and facilitation of inbound consumption.
Targeting tourist consumption needs, Bank of China has launched its new "BOC Benefit Travel" payment brand, delivering benefits directly through scenario-based incentives. The brand has currently implemented two core scenarios: focusing on cultural tourism landmarks, partnering with over 140 famous food streets and commercial districts nationwide to conduct payment discount activities; and collaborating with leading cultural tourism service platforms to provide comprehensive discount packages covering the entire cultural tourism chain including flights, hotels, and attraction tickets, effectively reducing tourists' travel costs.
To enhance the inbound experience for foreign visitors to China, Bank of China has launched the cross-border comprehensive service application "ChinaConnect" APP. This APP integrates multi-language interfaces, convenient international card payments, and aggregated cultural tourism information, precisely addressing pain points such as "language barriers" and "payment inconveniences" faced by overseas tourists in China. It builds a convenient bridge for Sichuan's cultural tourism internationalization development and helps create a facilitated environment for inbound consumption.
In terms of consumer credit, Bank of China has provided multiple flexible loan products including "BOC E-Loan" and "Smart Loan at Will" to meet residents' diverse consumption funding needs. For special interest subsidies, the bank offers a 1% annual interest rate discount for qualified key consumption sectors, effectively lowering the threshold and cost of consumer financing for residents and stimulating consumption potential.
Bank of China will continue to deepen multi-party cooperation and expand the boundaries of the "finance + cultural tourism" ecosystem, enabling financial resources to more precisely and effectively nourish the cultural tourism industry, contributing greater strength to promoting high-quality development of cultural tourism and boosting consumption.
