Astera Labs, Inc. (ALAB) stock plunged 5.12% in after-hours trading on Monday, despite reporting better-than-expected Q4 2024 results. The sell-off came as the company's Q1 2025 outlook fell short of analyst estimates.
For the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, Astera Labs reported non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.37, surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.26. Revenue also topped expectations, coming in at $141.1 million compared to the projected $127.9 million.
However, the company's guidance for the first quarter of fiscal 2025 disappointed investors. Astera Labs forecasted revenue in the range of $151 million to $155 million and non-GAAP EPS between $0.28 and $0.29. Analysts had anticipated revenue of $133.8 million and EPS of $0.25, suggesting the outlook was slightly below expectations.
