诺基亚近日在中国大规模裁员,削减了近2000个工作职位。这是该公司应对全球电信设备市场低迷、实施成本削减计划的一部分。
随着电信运营商推迟或缩减基础设施升级计划,诺基亚和北欧竞争对手爱立信的销售业绩持续低迷。在中国这个全球最大的5G市场,欧洲公司面临来自华为和中兴等本土企业的强大竞争,市场份额逐步缩减。诺基亚发言人表示,该公司目前在中国的市场份额已跌至不到5%。
去年,诺基亚就宣布了全球裁员计划,预计最多裁员1.4万人。截至目前,诺基亚已累计裁掉约7500人。在大中华区,诺基亚约有1.04万名员工,此次中国区裁员近2000人,可见诺基亚在中国市场的调整力度。
尽管如此,诺基亚最新的第三季度财报显示公司扭亏为盈,其营业利润同比增长9%,但销售复苏仍落后于预期。财报发布后,诺基亚股价出现5%的涨幅,这或许反映了市场对其成本控制措施和未来前景的乐观预期。
