Shares of TH MEDICAL-B (02697) jumped more than 26% during intraday trading before paring gains to close the morning session up 19.46%, with the stock last trading at HK$311.80 and turnover reaching HK$64.3 million.
The company announced it has entered into a sales contract with an independent third party to supply puncture surgery navigation and positioning systems, with the total contract value approaching RMB 100 million. The products are scheduled for delivery in the near term.
The board believes that securing and fulfilling this contract will help expand the company's installed base, drive equipment revenue growth, and create conditions for sustained increases in consumables reorders and service income. This is expected to accelerate the "equipment-consumables-services" recurring business model and extend the reach of precise, minimally invasive diagnostics and treatments to more patients.
Notably, TH MEDICAL-B's interim results showed first-half revenue of RMB 5.671 million, a nearly 32-fold year-on-year increase, with surgical robot sales accounting for 91.0% of total revenue and consumables revenue growing 135.8% year-on-year. The "equipment plus consumables" model has proven viable, and the flywheel of installations driving consumables uptake is gaining momentum. This batch delivery order is set to inject further volume growth into the model.
