JD LOGISTICS (02618) opened sharply higher in the morning session, gaining over 7%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.14%, trading at HKD 15.90 with a turnover of HKD 77.088 million.

On May 12, JD LOGISTICS released its first-quarter performance report for 2026. For Q1 2026, the company's total revenue reached RMB 60.58 billion, representing a 29% year-on-year increase. Its adjusted net profit amounted to RMB 1.05 billion, marking a 40.1% year-on-year rise. This quarter represents JD LOGISTICS's strongest profit performance since its listing, demonstrating not only robust revenue growth but also continuous improvement in profitability.

Furthermore, JD LOGISTICS announced that its board of directors has authorized and approved a plan to repurchase up to USD 1.2 billion worth of the company's shares in the open market over a 48-month period starting from the approval date. When executing the repurchases, the company must act in accordance with the authority granted or to be granted to the board by shareholders' resolutions passed at the company's annual general meetings each year, repurchasing no more than 10% of the total number of issued shares as of the date of the respective general meeting.
