Kuaishou-W (01024) saw its shares surge more than 4% at the market open on February 10, reaching a high of HK$72.7 per share. The movement follows the company's announcement on February 9 of a partnership with China Media Group for the "2026 Spring Festival Gala." During the event, Kuaishou will present the full content of the 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala through various formats including live streams, on-demand viewing, and short videos, while also providing access to past galas.
Concurrently, Kuaishou's video generation product, Kling AI, has undergone a significant upgrade. On February 5, the Kling AI 3.0 series models were officially launched, comprising Kling Video 3.0, Kling Video 3.0 Omni, Kling Image 3.0, and Kling Image 3.0 Omni. The models are currently available to its "Heijin Members" and are expected to be fully launched in the near future. The newly released models cover processes including image generation, video generation, editing, and post-production.
Compared to previous versions, the 3.0 series features technical optimizations aimed at maintaining character and scene consistency within videos. Its "image-to-video + subject reference" technology is designed to address the industry's long-standing challenge of maintaining stable subject appearance and brand identity across multiple camera shots, thereby reducing post-production correction costs. In terms of narrative capability, the new models support continuous video generation of up to 15 seconds and introduce intelligent storyboarding and customizable shot control functions. This allows creators to organize shot pacing and narrative structure to some extent through text prompts, reducing reliance on stitching together fragmented clips. The models also support native synchronized audio and video generation and are compatible with multiple languages and regional accents.
For image generation, the Kling Image 3.0 series supports creating images with resolutions up to 4K and introduces a new feature for generating series of images, aimed at maintaining style and detail consistency across a set to meet professional needs such as film storyboarding and concept design.
Oriental Securities noted that the Kling 3.0 version further advances the technological frontier. If fully promoted before the Spring Festival, it is expected to sustain the product's momentum from January and stimulate demand release. The firm maintains a "Buy" rating on Kuaishou with a target price of HK$104.36. Citic Securities believes the Kling 3.0 model is already adapted for film-grade creative scenarios, and its accelerated commercialization process validates the product's competitiveness. Citi pointed out in a report that Kling's mobile revenue growth is strong, forecasting its revenue will double to $200 million by 2026. The bank reiterated its "Buy" rating with a target price of HK$95.
