In the CBD area where every inch of land is precious, efforts are underway to address delivery workers' challenges of "difficulty eating, difficulty drinking water, and difficulty resting." On September 25th, Jianwai Street established the "Hui Qi Restaurant" alliance, with over 40 restaurants providing discounts and conveniences such as drinking water and rest areas for delivery workers.

Liu Dong, Deputy Secretary of Jianwai Street Working Committee, introduced that the "Hui Qi Restaurant" project was launched three years ago, initially with only about 10 partner restaurants. This year, the street collaborated with Jianwai Market Office for the first time to establish the "Hui Qi Restaurant" alliance, with the first batch of selected restaurants exceeding 40, covering more high-frequency delivery worker gathering points.

The alliance will conduct strict audits of merchant qualifications and food safety to further improve service quality and management standards, while expanding the scope of merchant recruitment. Additionally, delivery workers will be invited to vote and rate restaurants quarterly. Top-rated restaurants will receive priority access to incentive resources such as brand promotion and joint event hosting, while poorly-rated restaurants will face an exit mechanism.

To increase awareness of "Hui Qi Restaurants," Jianwai Street has not only promoted online but also posted signs and identifiers at rider stations, express delivery points, office building pickup locations, and other places to facilitate easy location by delivery workers.

At the event, multiple brand restaurants provided warm lunches for delivery workers, and Jianwai Street Federation of Trade Unions distributed meal vouchers to delivery workers with October birthdays and newly joined members.
