Bay Area Dev expands share capital by 8.11% through HKD 1.83 placing of 250 million new shares

Shenzhen Investment Holdings Bay Area Development Company Limited (Bay Area Dev) has enlarged its issued share capital by 250.00 million ordinary shares under a general mandate, according to the Next Day Disclosure Return filed on 26 June 2026.

Prior to the transaction, the company had 3.08 billion shares outstanding as of 31 May 2026. The new allotment—executed on 26 June 2026 pursuant to a subscription agreement dated 12 June 2026—was priced at HKD 1.8335 per share, lifting the total share count to 3.33 billion. The increase represents approximately 8.11% of the pre-issue share base.

The filing confirms that the issuance was duly authorised by the board and carried out in full compliance with Hong Kong listing rules and other applicable regulations. No treasury-share movements, share repurchases, or cancellations were reported during the period.
