Shopify将智能代理商务定位为扩张渠道,而非单纯的产品功能。在公司分析师电话会议上,总裁哈利·芬克尔斯坦透露,由AI驱动搜索产生的订单量同比激增约15倍。他强调,虽然这一增长是从较小基数起步,但足以让Shopify将2025年视为"铺设轨道"的奠基之年,而2026年将成为规模化扩张的关键时期。

该公司的战略核心聚焦于与谷歌共同开发的通用商务协议(UCP),该协议旨在定义AI代理如何进行交易。同时,Shopify的智能代理店面现已将商家商品目录同步至谷歌Gemini、ChatGPT和微软Copilot等平台。通过其智能代理计划,这一覆盖范围甚至延伸至非Shopify平台的卖家。

芬克尔斯坦指出,如果人工智能能够推动更多交易完成,Shopify将从中获得更多与商品交易总额(GMV)挂钩的收入。这一布局凸显了公司通过AI技术深化商业生态的战略决心。
