周五，美加贸易谈判在最后关头破裂，随着新关税于周末生效，市场对全面贸易战的担忧再度升温。福特与Stellantis股价周一双双走低，此前特朗普总统宣布自明年1月起对来自加拿大的汽车及零部件征收50%关税。福特股价午盘时段下跌约4%，Stellantis则录得4.8%的跌幅。通用汽车股价亦下挫约1.7%。
与此同时，美国钢铁生产商股价则出现温和上涨。克利夫兰克里夫涨幅居前，攀升4.8%。纽柯钢铁与Steel Dynamics均上涨约2%。
尽管钢铁并未明确列入首批关税清单，但其被纳入报复性清单，促使美加两国进入现已破裂的贸易谈判。针对钢铁和铝的报复性关税再度被摆上台面。
